Coach D has devoted over 15 years to the sport of volleyball, bringing passion, energy, and a deep sense of purpose to every team he coaches. His experience spans high school programs and travel clubs, where he’s worked with athletes at all stages of development, from learning the fundamentals to preparing for collegiate play. What sets Coach D apart is his commitment to creating a space where players feel supported, motivated, and challenged to grow and develop. He believes the strongest teams are built not only on talent but on trust, hard work, and a shared love for the game.
Coach D’s coaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that sports are a powerful tool for personal growth. He strives to teach more than just volleyball; he encourages character, leadership, and resilience. His players know they’re part of something bigger, something that values effort over perfection and development over wins alone. For Coach D, success is measured not just in points on the board but in the confidence and maturity his athletes carry with them off the court.
Legacy Elite Volleyball Club was born from a vision by Kaitlyn Dula and brought to life by the dedication of local coaches who believe in building something special for the athletes of Franklin County. Coach D was instrumental in shaping that vision, driven by his passion for the game and his belief in creating opportunities for players to stay connected and thrive close to home. As Legacy Elite continues to grow, Coach D remains committed to helping each athlete discover their potential and fall in love with the journey of becoming not just better players, but better people.
Randi Hammock is a former player turned passionate coach whose volleyball journey began in middle school and continued at Franklin County High School (2011–2015). She went on to compete at Patrick & Henry Community College from 2015 to 2017. Even while still a student-athlete, she began coaching a travel team through State Line, sparking a lifelong dedication to developing young athletes.
After earning her degree from Radford University, Randi returned to Patrick & Henry as head coach from 2019 to 2021. And in 2022, she joined the coaching staff at Franklin County High School, where she has been named head coach in 2024.
Now deeply rooted in Franklin County, Coach Hammock is committed to carrying forward the vision of a dear friend, continuing to build a program centered on growth, grit, and community. In addition to her high school role as coach and teacher, she has also coached travel volleyball teams over the past two seasons, mentoring athletes both on and off the court.
Coach Nate brings a strong foundation of experience and passion to the court, with two years of collegiate volleyball under his belt in Boston and over eight years of combined coaching experience across travel and high school programs. Over the past five seasons, he has worked with various travel volleyball clubs, as well as spent three years coaching at the high school level, helping young athletes develop both their skills and confidence.
His coaching philosophy is rooted in a simple truth: the details matter. Coach Nate believes that when athletes focus on fundamentals and consistently execute the small details, everything else falls into place. He relies on stats to paint a clear, unbiased picture of where growth is needed, using that insight to tailor practices and help each player reach their fullest potential. His approach is thoughtful, disciplined, and data-informed, always striving to bring out the best in his team.
What truly fuels his love for coaching is watching his players develop not just in ability, but in confidence, teamwork, and game sense. He finds joy in the rhythm of the game, the creativity of plays, and the strategy behind every point. For Coach Nate, winning is the natural result of preparation, attention to detail, and collective growth. He looks forward to seeing both the club and school programs continue to evolve and succeed, and to helping each athlete he coaches find their spark in the sport.

She encourages every athlete to develop a well-rounded understanding of all positions, helping build both individual versatility and team unity on the court.
For Coach Emma, volleyball has always been a source of joy, connection, and personal growth. It’s where she’s built lasting friendships, found balance in difficult times, and discovered the power of teamwork. She believes that when players focus on the small details and commit to each other, success naturally follows.
